Dr. Subhendu Batabyal is a Freelancer with over 14 years of relevant experience as a Research Scientist. He has extensive knowledge of Baseband Physical Layer Signal Processing using MATLAB, floating-point and fixed-point C. He is skilled in software requirements, design, and implementation, including early prototyping and verification. Dr. Batabyal has a strong background in research on Communication Systems, Signal Processing, Baseband Physical Layer, and Cellular Network Performance Analysis. He is experienced in technical presentations, seminars, guidance in research problems, and thorough review of publications, both self and others. His career goal is to be part of a highly productive team developing high-quality software and/or hardware that generates products that win in the market-place and continuously enhance the user experience. Dr. Batabyal's specialties include MATLAB and C, algorithms and algorithmic complexity analysis/reduction, software requirements, design, and implementation, translation of MATLAB to C and C to fixed-point, antenna selection algorithms, performance, and algorithmic complexity, cellular network performance evaluation, and fairness of quality attributes of communication systems and links. Currently, Dr. Batabyal is working as a Project Lead at uurmi group, where he has worked on WLAN. He has also worked as a Senior Team Lead at MathWorks, where he worked on Communication Systems Toolbox and LTE System Toolbox. Dr. Batabyal holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Telecommunications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, an M.S. in Communication Systems and Signal Processing from the International Institute of Information Technology, and a B. Tech. (Hons.) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He also holds a W.B.H.S from Ram Krishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur.
